Peppermint

Peppermint not only sweetens your breath after wining and dining, but it aids digestion, too. Because it seems able to prevent or reduce fierce contractions of the gut, oil of peppermint is increasingly used in the treatment of IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome).

It can also improve circulation by dilating the blood vessels, so herbalists recommend it for chilblains, cramps, restless legs and cold hands and feet. Many good health food stores sell peppermint tablets.
